Kerala Kala Samithi (Kalalaya) started in the year1961 , celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2011.Kalalaya’s Main objectives are to foster and develop the artistic, cultural and social interests of the members. Kalalaya is one of the leading cultural organizations in Neyveli Township which was formed during the initial period of formation and development of Neyveli Lignite Corporation. Spheres of activities of Kalalaya cover the whole population of Neyveli Township by way of various cultural activities and social service. Kalalaya conducts different cultural programs regularly and classes for Dance, Music, Veena, Drawing etc. at our premises. We are also helping financially needy students in their education. Kerala Kala Samithi plays a significant role in the socio-cultural activities organized by the NLC management for the overall development of Neyveli community.
